Building restrictions booths

Booth spaces

  • Minimum exhibit space = 9 m² (3m x 3m)
  • Maximum exhibit space = 351m² (a total of 39 units of 9 m²)
  • Rigging points can only hold 80kg per point, instead of the “normal” 150 kg
  • Weight limitations for the exhibition floor = maximum floor load 600 kg/m² (see page 42 in the technical regulations)
  • You are allowed to book a maximum of two distinct booth spaces. In that case the second booth must be placed opposite to your first one
  • Bookable aisles can also be reserved (aisles between 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m). The bookable aisles can be used as part of your stand construction.

Middle structures

  • To create an open exhibitor environment, no more than one-third of each stand’s side facing an aisle may be covered by a wall or central structure.
  • Maximum building height:
    - Island booths: max 4 metres high
    - Inline, Corner and Peninsula booths: max 2,5 metres high

Building heights and hanging banners

  • There are two overall height limits: 4 meters for the orange booth spaces and 6 meters for the green booth spaces.
  • Islands: the green booth spaces, maximum building height is 4 meters for middle and side walls, however for the orange booth spaces, it is 2.5 meters.
  • Inline, Corner and Peninsula booths: maximum building height is 2.5 meters for middle, back and side walls. Booth must be separated from neighbouring exhibitors by a wall. Even if you are only using roll-up banners, a wall is still required between your booth and your neighbour's.
  • Hanging banners: The lowest point of a hanging banner must be 4.5 meters above the floor. Banners can have a maximum height of 1.5 meters, resulting in a total possible height of 6 meters. Hanging banners are only permitted in the green booth spaces.
  • Walls: To maintain an open exhibition environment, only one-third of the stand’s side facing an aisle can be covered by a wall or middle structure.

Stand approval

  • Deadline: all custom-made booth plans must undergo a review and approval by ESHRE. Booth plans should be sent to exhibit@eshre.eu before 30 April 2025.
  • Make sure to follow ESHRE’s instructions for stand approval, which you can find here.
  • After ESHRE reviews your plans for compliance with ESHRE’s building restrictions, they will also be forwarded to ESHRE’s Health & Safety partner for further assessment
